A youth-led movement for a sustainable world
We turn young energy into measurable environmental action, aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
From a handful of seedballs to a movement
Ashwas was founded in 2021 by a small group of students who were tired of waiting for change. Their first act was simple: rolling seedballs by hand and dispersing them across barren land before the monsoon.
What began as a weekend experiment quickly grew. Friends brought friends, colleges opened their doors, and soon the movement spread across cities. The motivation has stayed the same โ the belief that young people, given the chance, will lead the change the planet needs.
Today, Ashwas is a growing network of 1,500+ volunteers across 10+ cities, running reforestation drives, cleanliness campaigns and SDG-focused programs.
